PHOTOGRAPHIC TOUR OF REDFERN CHIPENDALE AND DARLINGTON // FOR THE BY A WINDOW EXHIBITION
August 20, 2-5pm
Max attendees: 10
Join Documentary Photographer Marco Bok for a photographic tour of Redfern, Darlington and Chippendale, some of Sydney’s most diverse and vibrant suburbs. These suburbs, on the cusp of the CBD, have been home to key community and creative organisations that have vastly contributed to the rich histories of Sydney. With cameras in hand, participants will spend three memorable hours uncovering some of the iconic places and people of the Redfern, Darlington and Chippendale areas and discover the importance of documenting the everyday for the future.
A renowned street photographer, Marco Bok is no stranger to this part of Sydney. In the workshop Marco will guide participants through the cities hidden secrets, encouraging us to engage differently with the parts of our community that are often overlooked.
Places are limited. Please email Antoinette Clements at firstname.lastname@example.org to reserve your place.
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people should be aware that this exhibition contains images, voices and names of people who have passed away.
