Matthew P. Hopkins (Melb)
Matthew P. Hopkins is a Melbourne based artist that uses processed field and vocal recordings, electronics, found sound, and occasional instrumentation to produce electro-acoustic compositions. Hopkins’ work hovers from hissing clunk, atmospheric creep to sombre refrains.
Hopkins will be launching his new LP Blue-Lit Half Breath.
Nicola Morton is an Asian/Australian artist who loves playing with machines and the paranormal. When she was young she would dream she was a steam train. She has a B.Music (Technology) from Qld Conservatorium of Music (2003). She has investigated remote viewing, time travel and artificial intelligence in the pursuit of a synergy and natural revolutionary spirit in technology.
“Wireless Psychics: The Experiments” are open ended investigations which aim to find ways to invite people to think about how Wi-Fi inhabits the world, and how we can relate to it as a phenomenon rather than a tool.

Double Vision is a series of free-form gigs showcasing the practice of D-I-Y, experimental, sound artists and ‘other’ musicians. The program seeks to a create platform that encourages collaboration between artists and musicians – and their communities, providing the opportunity to re-frame and re-calibrate creative vision through a cross disciplinary approach.
