Matthew P. Hopkins (Melb)

Matthew P. Hopkins is a Melbourne based artist that uses processed field and vocal recordings, electronics, found sound, and occasional instrumentation to produce electro-acoustic compositions. Hopkins’ work hovers from hissing clunk, atmospheric creep to sombre refrains.

Hopkins will be launching his new LP Blue-Lit Half Breath.

Nicola Morton

Nicola Morton is an Asian/Australian artist who loves playing with machines and the paranormal. When she was young she would dream she was a steam train. She has a B.Music (Technology) from Qld Conservatorium of Music (2003). She has investigated remote viewing, time travel and artificial intelligence in the pursuit of a synergy and natural revolutionary spirit in technology.

“Wireless Psychics: The Experiments” are open ended investigations which aim to find ways to invite people to think about how Wi-Fi inhabits the world, and how we can relate to it as a phenomenon rather than a tool.
