Jessica Ekomane (DE)

Creates situations where sound acts as a transformative element for the space and the audience. This informs her musical compositions which seek a cathartic effect alternating between noise and melody, and playing with our perception of rhythmical structures.

Silje Nes (NOR)

Takes interest in particular and physical manifestations of sound, in her current work she explores the creation of environments that express a certain autonomy, removed from compositorial processes.

Jasmine Guffond

Through the sonification of data she addresses the potential of sound to engage with contemporary political questions.

Double Vision is a series of free-form gigs held at Verge Gallery showcasing the practice of DIY, experimental, sound artists and musicians. The program seeks to a create platform that encourages collaboration between artists and musicians and their communities, providing the opportunity to re-frame and re-calibrate creative vision through a cross-disciplinary approach.
